Majoring in Art at College of Charleston, I started painting shortly after I graduated. I want my art to be a challenge, to hopefully evolve for the better, and I think it is a privilege to be in my studio and to be a part of creating something that I love. I really do think my paintings very much reflect who I am and what I'm attracted to in my everyday life. I am attracted to joyful, thoughtful people. I love bright, vibrant colors and hope that the paintings that I create have a timelessness about them and are passed down to daughters and granddaughters.
My husband, Harrison and I live in Downtown Charleston with our daughter, Edy. They are both daily encouragers and supporters who I am very grateful for.
Megan Simon works full time for Lulie Wallace Art and is in charge of Graphic Design and Project Management. Megan and I were best friends at College of Charleston and I am very thankful to have her on staff for her amazing creative abilities, her keen organizational skills that I greatly need, and her ridiculous humor. Brooke Atwood works part time for Lulie Wallace Art and works as my studio assistant. She interned with us for a semester at College of Charleston and we are very excited she decided to work with us after she graduated. She is a kind, bright individual who I am glad to have in the studio with us!
