Majoring in Art at College of Charleston, I started painting shortly after I graduated. I want my art to be a challenge, to hopefully evolve for the better, and I think it is a privilege to be in my studio and to be a part of creating something that I love. I really do think my paintings very much reflect who I am and what I'm attracted to in my everyday life. I am attracted to joyful, thoughtful people. I love bright, vibrant colors and hope that the paintings that I create have a timelessness about them and are passed down to daughters and granddaughters.
My husband, Harrison and I live in Columbus, Georgia with our three daughters, Edy, Katherine, and Millie. I am grateful for their daily encouragement and support!
Megan Simon works full time for Lulie Wallace Art and is in charge of Graphic Design and Project Management. Megan and I were best friends at College of Charleston and I am very thankful to have her on staff for her amazing creative abilities, her keen organizational skills that I greatly need, and her ridiculous humor. Louisa Dunn also works full time for Lulie Wallace Art and works as my studio assistant. Louisa received her BFA from SCAD, and handles everything in the studio from production, to assisting with design! We are so grateful to have her eye and talent on our team!
